Hyper’s Offline Raid Protection (ORP) is the system that protects your base while your tribe is logged off — without making offline raiding impossible. It’s designed to reduce the advantage of raiding while nobody can defend, not to eliminate raiding entirely.

How Activation Works

ORP activates 15 minutes after the final tribe member logs off, and disables immediately the moment any tribe member logs back in. Only one ORP terminal is allowed per tribe, per map — terminals don’t stack.

Turrets

While ORP is active, your turrets keep working normally — they still fire, and ammo is still consumed. What changes is the damage they deal: turret damage is multiplied 10× while ORP is active. There is no infinite ammunition, and Gold Turrets are not usable weapons — a gold-colored turret is simply the visual indicator that ORP is currently active on that structure.

Structures

Structures receive 10× effective protection while ORP is active. This makes offline raiding significantly harder, but structures are not invulnerable — offline raiding remains possible with enough dedication and firepower. ORP is a strong deterrent, not a force field.

Radius

Each ORP terminal protects a 50×50 foundation radius. Structures outside that radius aren’t covered, so spread-out bases may need to think carefully about where the terminal sits.

Combat Logging

This is important: combat logging does not activate ORP during an active raid. If enemy players are still inside the ORP radius when defenders log off, ORP does not activate at all. The 15-minute timer only begins once every enemy has left the radius, and the area must then stay clear for 15 continuous minutes straight. If an enemy re-enters the radius during that countdown, the timer resets to zero.

For example: if a raiding tribe is actively breaching your walls and your defenders log off mid-raid, ORP will not kick in while the raiders are still standing inside your base. They would need to fully leave the area and stay out for 15 uninterrupted minutes before protection activates. This prevents defenders from simply logging out mid-raid to instantly force protection, while still giving real offline protection once a raid has genuinely ended.

This is exactly the balance Survival Enhanced is built around: ORP protects players with real lives without eliminating real PvP.
