Survival Enhanced uses a command-based turret filling and management system instead of Ammo Boxes. The previous Ammo Box mod was removed due to reliability issues. These commands provide a faster, more dependable way to manage large turret networks while still requiring players to carry and distribute their own ammunition.
How Do I Fill My Turrets?
Use:
This distributes compatible ammunition from your inventory into nearby turrets.
Turret Filters
| Filter | Affects |
|---|---|
heavy | Heavy Auto Turrets |
tek | Tek Turrets |
cannons | Cannons |
myturrets | Only your own turrets |
How Do I Check the /fill Range?
Use:
This displays the area affected by /fill. For large bases or turret walls, run /filltest first to confirm which defenses are actually in range before filling.
/fill Cooldown
/fill has a 60-second cooldown. This reduces command spam while still allowing large defensive networks to be restocked efficiently.Turret Management Commands
The syntax is:
The action comes first; the optional filter comes after it.
/turrets on— turns affected turrets on/turrets off— turns affected turrets off/turrets pull— pulls ammunition from affected turrets back to you
Filters With /turrets
Filters can be combined with turret-management commands to target specific defense types instead of every turret in range. The filter always comes after the action:
How Do I Check /turrets Range?
Use:
This displays the affected area for /turrets commands.
Ammo Weight Reduction
Turret ammunition receives a 50% weight reduction on Survival Enhanced. Because /fill draws ammunition directly from your inventory, this makes large quantities much easier to transport and distribute across bases and turret towers.
Why Were Ammo Boxes Removed?
The previous Ammo Box mod was removed because it was not functioning reliably. The command system provides a more dependable way to fill nearby turrets, target specific turret types, turn turret networks on or off, pull ammunition, preview command range, and transport bulk ammo more easily.
